Episode Four is now out, and should hit the syndicated feeds shortly. The main topic is Napoleon, the block game from Avalon Hill and Columbia Games, and we also talk about ConsimWorld Expo.
Paul's individual segment continues his series relating famous quotes to wargaming, and I start a series on the historical background for CDG events. We also welcome our first guest contributor, our long time friend Jon, who talks about multiplayer wargaming.
Note: I (Martin) under-reported the number of monster games set up at ConsimWorld Expo by half. During the episode I say there appeared to be more than forty monsters set up, but a later recount showed it was actually over 80. It was quite the event.

Episode Three Released
Our third episode, featuring a discussion of Up Front and Attack Sub along with a quick bio of Bill Mauldin and a little bit more about the title of our podcast, is now online.
iTunes subscribers should see it pretty soon, and the links on the right side of this page should provide a direct link once the feed refreshes. Going directly to http://www.techscaliber.com/CWtE.rss will work right now if you don't feel like waiting.
Thanks for listening!

Episode Two released
Our second episode, featuring a discussion of GMT's Here I Stand along with a little bit more about our wargaming likes and dislikes, is now online.
It will probably take a little while for all of the automated tools (such as the feed listing on the right side of this page) to notice the update, but going directly to http://www.techscaliber.com/CWtE.rss will work right now if you don't feel like waiting.

Volume increased
(crossposted from the comment section on ConsimWorld)
Paul figured out how to up the overall volume, and I've updated the file and the rss feed.
Fair warning: being able to hear us better will not necessarily make the listening experience any more enjoyable :)

Welcome
Welcome to the blog for Contact With The Enemy, a new podcast about wargaming from Martin Burke and Paul Glenn. We'll both be posting here on anything that strikes our fancy, as well as announcing new episodes.
The RSS feed for the show is: http://www.techscaliber.com/CWtE.rss
Keep in mind that we're not expert gamers or sound engineers. We're doing this because we love wargames, and podcasting is fun. So we hope the sound quality is good, and that the content is interesting.
We currently have 1 episode posted, covering Hannibal: Rome v Carthage.
